International eye care · Long-term eye health
Coordinate glaucoma assessment and a plan focused on protecting your remaining vision.
An assessment before a treatment decisionTechnique and appointment availability must be confirmed at your chosen centre before you book travel.
Cataract: cashless with most health insurance and corporate employee plans, subject to policy terms, sub-limits and insurer approval. Premium lens upgrades and other non-payable items may leave a patient contribution. LASIK and ICL can be covered by health insurance depending on your policy's clauses. Wekure Health reviews your insurance documents and clauses and confirms cashless eligibility before surgery. Coverage, limits and any patient contribution require insurer confirmation; cashless is not guaranteed. Eligibility is reviewed at participating centres in Kerala, Delhi and Mumbai. Zero-cost EMI is subject to lender approval.
Diagnostic tests, medicines, laser treatment and surgery can have different policy benefits. Each part of the recommended plan needs its own coverage confirmation.
Understand your options
Glaucoma damages the optic nerve and can progress without obvious early symptoms. Treatment aims to lower eye pressure and reduce the risk of further vision loss; it cannot restore vision already lost to glaucoma. Depending on the type and severity, the ophthalmologist may recommend drops, laser treatment or surgery. Ongoing monitoring is essential whichever approach is chosen.
An individual decision

Tests are selected by the clinician. Information on this page is general guidance, not a diagnosis or a recommendation for surgery.
Do not stop prescribed drops without medical advice. Severe eye pain, a red eye, sudden blurred vision, halos with nausea or sudden vision loss need urgent local assessment rather than waiting to travel.
A care journey, not a recovery promise
Care planning that includes your familyAsk how to share existing pressure readings, visual-field results and current medicines securely with the treating clinic.
The specialist evaluates the glaucoma type and progression, then discusses medication, laser or surgical options and monitoring needs.
Arrange pressure checks and transfer of the treatment plan to your local ophthalmologist. Surgical follow-up can require a longer stay than five days.
A Personalised care is a planning framework, not a guaranteed treatment or recovery period. Your clinician decides treatment timing, follow-up and fitness to fly; a longer stay may be needed.
Your surgery is performed by experienced eye surgeons at our NABH-accredited partner hospitals. Wekure Health manages your consultation, insurance, hospital booking and follow-up care.
