Understand your options
SILK (Smooth Incision Lenticule Keratomileusis) is a flapless laser vision-correction technique. A femtosecond laser creates a lenticule within the cornea, which the surgeon removes through a small incision. Whether it is appropriate depends on the prescription, corneal measurements and the treating surgeon’s assessment.
An individual decision

Tests are selected by the clinician. Information on this page is general guidance, not a diagnosis or a recommendation for surgery.
Flapless does not mean risk-free. Dryness, visual disturbances and incomplete correction can occur. Availability and the actual technique proposed must be confirmed at the treating centre.
